Harvard Westlake Wins The John Edie Holiday Debates Hosted By The Blake School

This weekend, a fan favorite WSD tournament for students across the United States took place in Minnesota. After duking it out over three days (with a whopping SEVEN impromptu rounds), Harvard Westlake on the proposition faced Cary Academy on the opposition in the final round. They debated the motion: THR the secularization of traditional religious holidays.

On a close 2-1 decision, Harvard Westlake emerged victorious. Congratulations to Nilufer Mistry-Sheasby, Nathan Verny, Liv Kriger, and Arielle Trakhtenberg!
