Features
Office Hours: Students will use this hour to meet with any lab leader of their choosing. This time can be used for one-on-one drilling, case edits, a mental check-in, or anything the student wants to further their camp experience.
Lab Sessions: Labs will be in groups of 8-12 with two to three instructors. These labs are similar to classrooms and lab leaders will tailor lessons to the specific needs of the lab. These labs are also where students focus on case writing and have most of their practice rounds with.
Practice Debates: The best way to learn to debate is by debating. Students will have a practice round every day by Day 3 of camp. Sometimes this will be a prepared motion and sometimes it will be impromptu.
Electives: Students will be given two options on what they want to focus on that day. Sometimes they will be lectures. Sometimes they will be drills.
Mentor Check-In: One of the unique features of our camp. Every instructor will be a mentor to 4 students. Students meet with their mentor every other day for 30-minute one-on-one sessions.
Camp Tournament: A mini-tournament done at the end of the session. It’s an opportunity to simulate a tournament setting for students to best put the skills they learned into practice
