2/16 Weekend: Coppell Wins The Cal Invitational @ UC Berkeley
We hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend! Pardon the delay - the long weekend held us up a bit. This past week there was only one major tournament we could find on Tabroom for World Schools: the California Invitational @ UC Berkeley! Students from all over the country flocked to the Sunshine State for a rainy weekend of great competition. Let’s break down the results!
The Cal Invitational
In the final round, Harvard Westlake MVLTW on the proposition debated against Coppell Jasmine on the opposition. The final round motion was: “THW create and enforce filial laws for adult children to their parents”. On a 2-1 decision, Coppell Jasmine secured their victory! Congratulations to Anjana Boppana, Krish Gandhi, Emma Zhao, Arjun Krishnan, and Sahil Patel. Fun fact - all 5 debaters are WOWI Alum!
