Oct 20th Weekend: Tompkins, Flower Mound, Grand Oaks, and Dripping Springs Take Home Big Wins

This past weekend there were four WSD tournaments across the grand state of Texas. As always, students fought for the win but only a few were able to clutch the ultimate victory.

Stratford Spartan Invitational

First, the Stratford Spartan Invitational St John's MGMLM faced off against Tompkins SLCMD debating the motion: This House believes that gene-editing technology should be restricted to non-human organisms. On a 3-0 decision, Tompkins took the win. Congratulations to Janaki Sankar, Andrew Liu, Aeon Chen, Jaylon Ma and Grace Ding!

Jack C Hays Hawkoween Classic

At the Jack C Hays Hawkoween Classic, Dripping Springs debated against Hendrickson on the motion: This House supports the right to secession. On a 2-1 Decision, Dripping Springs took the win! Congratulations Colton De Los Santos, Alexander Seshan, Liam Ianiro, and Will McAdams!

At Atascocita High School, we saw a phenomenal closeout from Grand Oaks. Congratulations to Dua Naqvi, Elle Alldredge, Grace Conner, Ariana Noor, Jason Bellinger, and their teammates Austin Thibodeaux, Aleksander Mougoue, Parker Russo, Kaitlyn Hames and Hannah Griffin.
