12/1 Weekend: Southlake, Flower Mound, and St. John’s Bring Home the Gold

This weekend we had on of the biggest tournaments in Texas: The Longhorn Classic at UT. While many students attended this tournament, we also saw great showings in Houston and Kingswood. Let’s give out some congratulations!

THE LONGHORN CLASSIC

In the final round, Coppell on the proposition faced Southlake on the opposition. They debated the motion: This house would televise criminal trials. On a 2-1 decision, Southlake emerged victorious! Congratulations to Rishi Shori, Srishthi Das and Sophia Ahmed!

CLEAR LAKE FALCON CLASSIC TFA IQT

In the finals at Clear Lake, St. John’s on the proposition debated Clear Springs on the opposition. They debated the motion: THO lifetime appointments to the federal judiciary. On a 2-1 decision, St. John’s emerged victorious. Congrats to Leetyan Chen, Julian Juang, Nathan Kim, Carter Lawrence and Brandon Wu!

KINGWOOD MUSTANG WINTER CLASSIC

In the finals of the Kingwood Classic, Flower Mound on the Proposition debated Grand Oaks on the Opposition. On a 2-1 decision, Flower Mound claimed victory! Congratulations to Mihika Kandula, Vennila Ganesh, Harnek Sabharwal, and Aahee Kher.
