Thanksgiving Break Results: Flower Mound, Alief Elsik, and Wimberley Win Big!

Over the Thanksgiving break, students still put in work (particularly on the weekend of the Nov 18th). They deserve their flowers too so we wanted to highlight some successes!

BIG CAT SWING AT CY FAIR HIGH SCHOOL

At the Big Cat Swing, we have two sets of the champions. On the Cy Fair side of the swing, Kinkaid on the prop faced off against Flower Mound on the opp in the final round. The impromptu motion was: This House would grant an additional vote to families with children for national elections. On a 2-1 decision, Flower Mound emerged victorious. Congratulations to Aditi Singh, Poorvi Kumar, Arjun Patil and Jessica John!

On a 3-0 decision, Alief Elsik emerged victorious. Congratulations to Edgar Euceda, Nhung Huynh, and Luana Peceros Vento!

TFA OCONNOR OCLASSIC

At the OConnor Classic, the final round consisted of Wimberly on the Prop and Dripping Springs on the Opp. They debated the motion: This House regrets the existence of the annual Black Friday shopping event. On a 2-1 decision, Wimberly took the win. Congratulations to Josh Bober, Kathryn McKinney, Kathryn Kinser, and Sophia Vitela!
